Dallas, Texas, February 1, 2010 – t. howard & associates architects (THA) announced today that Michael Gin, AIA LEED AP, has joined the firm as a project architect. With more than 10 years of experience in project management, design, construction documentation and contract administration, Gin will enhance THA’s building information management capabilities, as well as help lead education industry engagements, specifically on large school district projects.
“Michael has a very well rounded background with some great firms, and he will be a strong asset as we continue to build our expertise in the educational industry,” said Todd Howard, president of THA. “Despite the difficult economy, THA has been able to grow, and we believe it is important to continue to add valuable members to our team like Michael, who can help us maintain the quick response to client needs for which we are known.”
“THA is building a strong reputation for outstanding work, and has great potential to expand in a number of industries, including education” said Gin. “I look forward to working with the other team members here to apply my experience and grow that side of the business.”
Prior to joining THA, Gin was project manager and senior project architect for Callison Architecture, Inc., working in both Dallas and New York. With Callison, Gin was responsible for multiple full-service projects, primarily in mixed-use and retail.
