Nathan Adams Elementary
th+a recently completed significant renovation work for this existing elementary school in North Dallas.The work included exterior and interior painting, new landscape irrigation system and entrance plaza, student restroom upgrades, interior and exterior door and hardware replacement including provisions to meet security lockdown criteria of the District, and new room signage throughout. Also included in the scope was replacement of ceiling systems in select common areas, and a new computer-controlled theatrical stage lighting system and new sound system. Mechanical and Electrical upgrades included replacement of one 160-ton chiller, one 160- ton cooling tower, one rooftop air handling unit, installation of new DDC controls for selected mechanical equipment, replacement of two steam boilers, replacement of one chilled water pump and one condenser water pump, and replacement of thirty-eight unit ventilators. A new gated masonry dumpster enclosure was also included to meet the City of Dallas Building Code. Work was completed in the Fall of 2011.
